Best way to flash update.

So what's the best way to flash a update and not lose data? If it's just a security update and not an actual version difference, what's the best way to do this and not lose data? Keep in mind, my device is unencrypted. I was thinking flashing everything except userdata, and then booting into TWRP straight away and flashing a kernel before first boot, would this work?

S3 GT-I9300 unable to connect 3 network uk

I have tried about 10 different roms and they all have this error. I have been searching in here and I see other people with similar issues and I have tried many different modems and I'm now tearing my hair out. It's my mums phone and she wasn't hearing the person on the other end so I flashed a stock rom 4.3 and that's where the fun began. She is on the 3 Network in the uk and the imei is correct. The csc was in kor last i looked but I changed that to cpw. I have tried btu but that's just the same. Emergency mode only and unable to connect try later. Could anyone anyone the on 3 network in the uk point me towards a modem that works. I have flashed using Odin and from the memory card using the other method but it always ends in failure.

OnePlus 3 Xposed modules

I would like to make a collection of Xposed modules for OnePlus 3. I've tried a few:

Work OK:

• GravityBox [MM]
  At the beginning, it throws an error, but activate it, reboot and then it works.
• Zoom For Instagram
• Amplify by DavidGTC
• Youtube Adaway by DavidGTC

Work partially:

• WhatsAppX
  OK: Lock contacts, Set remiender. KO: Per contact wallpaper, Highlight contacts.
• App Settings
  You can change DPI, but you lose some icons. It's very rare.

Don't work:

• Wanam Kit
• XuiMod
• Phab7
• XBlast Tools
• DoubleTapToSleep
• Hide Carrier Label

We could discussing what works and what does not and so we update the list to be as complete as possible :good:
